Information we collect

When you create an Action Links account, we collect the following personal data:
Name
Email address
Password
Behavioural data
We collect data about how you use Action Links through third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Matomo, and Microsoft Clarity. Where possible we may link this data back to your account.
We may also use third-party tools like Clearbit to help us identify and communicate with prospective new customers.
Integrations
Action Links may process the personal data contained within the systems you add as integrations. Unless otherwise stated, we only process this data and do not store it.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our services
To communicate with you, including responding to your queries
To help identify marketing opportunities, and for the purpose of prospecting
To improve the functionality of Action Links
To analyse usage patterns to improve user experience
To process payments through third-party payment processors
Sharing of information
We may share your information with the third-party systems that Action Links integrates with, as well as third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Matomo. We may also share your data with advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
In addition, we may share your data with third-party payment processors, such as Stripe, for the purpose of processing payments.
Data processed through integrations
Google Analytics
When you authenticate with your Google account by following the link 'Log in to Google account' link from a Google Analytics Action Link, Google will give Action Links read access to your Google Analytics data. We don't collect or store this data, it is only used for the purpose of displaying your Action Link dashboards. If we need to request additional access we will ask you to re-authenticate.
In the case of Google Analytics data, at this time any requests to retrieve Google Analytics data are made directly by the user's browser and so the data will not be processed by Action Links' servers.
Action Links' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Other integrations
The majority of the integrations that Action Links offers to its customers require us to process, in part, the data that is contained within the integrated system. We will always process this data in compliance with the applicable regulations, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Wherever possible we will avoid storing this data, acting as a Data Processor rather than Data Controller.
International data transfer
Currently, all user data is stored on servers located within the UK or the EU.
Data security
Action Links employs AES256 encryption to protect any stored data. Integration keys for systems that users integrate with Action Links are twice encrypted using AES256, with encryption keys stored in a separate database.
Data retention
Your personal data is retained for as long as your Action Links account is open. If you close your account, we may retain your name, email address, and company information unless explicitly instructed not to do so by you, along with any other data that we are required to retain by law.
Your rights
As an Action Links account holder, you have the right to request access to any of your personal data we are storing. If you need to request access to, update or erase your data, please contact us at hello@actionlinks.io.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
