Feature development roadmap

Action Links has an ambitious roadmap for new feature development, including additional configurability for existing Links, and new Actions that we want to develop.
We want to engage with our customers to prioritise the roadmap for new feature development. You can suggest new features and inform priorities by contributing to our roadmap – you'll soon be able to submit your ideas or up-vote feature submissions to get them made sooner. For now, if you've got a good idea for a new feature or integration, drop us an email at .
We're currently working on a number of new features. We've included the details for these in the relevant areas of this documentation:
Custom domains
At the moment all Action Links are accessed via a subdomain of our action.link domain. In the near future you'll be able to make your Action Links available on your own domain, e.g. link.yourorganisation.com.
Custom domains are now available for all customers on the Plus and Enterprise plans.
New actions and integrations (continuous) We've got a number of new actions that we want to develop, and popular products that we want to integrate with – stay tuned to find out more.
Link-level authorisation (targeting 2024 Q1)
At the moment some specific actions allow you to set authorisation parameters for the action (e.g. the user must be logged in to their Tessitura account and belong to a specific List to access a Form Builder action). In the future we plan to separate authorisation into a layer that isn't directly tied to individual actions, but instead that can be applied to any Link, regardless of its action and the product it integrates with. This would enable you to, for example, require a user to log in to their Tessitura account to access an Interactive Map action that's integrated with Airtable.
This feature was released in January 2024, along with the ability to surface data and interpolate in content.
New Action Links CMS interface (targeting 2024 Q2) We have various improvements that we want to make to the Action Links CMS interface, in particular around the structure of the Link settings forms. This work will begin as part of the introduction of Link-level authorisation, but will also include a redevelopment of the interface for building forms to be more visual.
Availability for North America (targeting 2024 Q3)
Currently Action Links is only available in Europe as the underlying infrastructure only operates on servers situated in the UK and Belgium (although we'll likely be migrating our Belgium-based infrastructure to London servers in the near future). To reduce latency we'll need to build out specific infrastructure in North America to support prospective clients in the USA and Canada. We're hoping to be able to offer this from mid-2024 alongside a billing option in US dollars ($).
Support for clients in the US and Canada was introduced in January 2024. For now, billing for all countries will continue to be in GBP (£).
If there's a feature that you need urgently, get in touch to find out about sponsoring the development of that feature. This could be a new action or integration, or an existing roadmap item that you'd like to see developed faster.
Note: In order to ensure we're able to fully support all developed features going forward, we assess new feature requests based on their relevance to our current and anticipated customer base. As such, we can't guarantee that requests to develop new features will be taken forward, even with an offer of sponsorship.
