Instead of sharing an account, we recommend adding team members if you need to allow others to create and manage Links on behalf of an organisation.
Before adding another user to your team, make sure that your colleague has created an account; if they haven't direct them to the registration page. Then when you're ready, click Add team member, enter their email address and click Add member to associate them with your account.
A custom domain ensures that your customers recognise your Action Links as a legitimate part of your digital ecosystem. In some cases it's necessary to configure a custom domain in order for your integrations to work properly (such as in the case of Tessitura and TNEW session sharing).
To add a custom domain, first add a CNAME record to your DNS (Domain Name System) settings. When configuring the DNS record, set the name value to the subdomain you want to use for your Links (e.g. links
), and set the value to action.link
.
When your DNS change has had time to propagate, head back to the My organisation page and click Add domain, enter the full domain (e.g. links.myorganisation.com
) and click Add domain. It sometimes takes a few moments for the domain to successfully update. You should then be able to access your Links at your chosen domain, e.g. links.myorganisation.com/my-link-id
.
For more information about customising the appearance of your Links and adding custom tags, visit the Styling article.
Organisation name
Give your organisation a name – this will be included as part of the Meta Title for each Action Link page (displaying within the browser tab and search results, if indexed).
Organisation identifier
The identifier for your organisation will have been set when you registered the organisation and cannot be changed. This is used as the subdomain for your Action Links when accessing them via the action.link
domain, e.g. my-organisation.action.link/link-id
.
