The Subscribe action allows you to work with complex preference structures using Tessitura's Contact Permissions and Interest functionality. For each preference you display to the user you can specify one or more Contact Permissions and/or Interests that you want to update the status for on a user's Constituent record.

Preferences can be nested into groups to make them easier for users to navigate and to ensure that the correct Contact Permissions are applied in Tessitura to be able to communicate with customers. For each group, specify any Contact Permissions and/or Interests that a customer should be opted-in to when checking the box for that group.

When a user has checked the box for a group preference, you can optionally display additional options for them to opt-in to.

Contact Permissions with Tessitura v15
Although Action Links supports both Tessitura v15 and v16, we recommend upgrading to v16 wherever possible to take advantage of significant performance improvements that can reduce load times for users.
When submitting Contact Permissions with Tessitura v15, Action Links has to chain together multiple requests to the Tessitura API, whereas v16 allows us to set these permissions with just a single request. If it isn't possible to upgrade, we recommend limiting the number of Contact Permissions and making use of Interests wherever possible.
